Chic: Mantra For Decor
By DecoratorInside.com
Style is the call of the day in a new age world with furnishing moving on fast. To make your bedroom look trendy yet simple, you can now choose among a range of furnishings available.
Go with your tastes for giving a classic and lavish décor to your bedroom. Architectural elements like a foot stand or a treasure chest add an elegant aura to the room. You can make your room look romantic, rustic or sleek depending on the texture of colors that you choose for the walls. The color theme should include those colors that will not bore you all through the day.
Try to choose a specific theme and stick to it for all the furnishing. Elegant European furniture having deep and rich colors like cocoa and sienna go with almost all sorts of beds- painted wood or iron. You could also add night stands to add variety in style. Lavish pillows, bright hues and soft drapes always bring in the romantic energy in to the room. You could use bed sheets with high thread counts coupled with soft satin linen and velvet tapestries. Hanging a large chandelier or lampshade over the bed and two small ones around could add a unique touch to the room. Fragrant candles and flowers arranged in a Japanese style would definitely help you relax.
Wall hangings to give an earthly tone to the room are an option. Besides, you could add drawers and wardrobes to create storage space. For those late night studies, you could create a corner with a table and a lamp. If you have a television in your room, headboards to support your back could be added to the bed. Footboards to adjust heights when you sit up on your bed can be quite comfortable.
Spoil your self is the mantra with all the new age furnishings ready to add chic to your life style and of course your bedroom.
