Kids live in their own land of fantasy often perceivable by parents, often not. With a range of furnishing coming up to date, you could live your childhood dreams by recreating them in your kid’s nursery. The theme of furnishing a kid’s room should be durable in spite of being playful.

Generally, you could do with enough storage space for toys and other belongings. A bed with drawers underneath could serve your purpose.

Bunk beds, canopy beds available in bright colors, make a child’s room look livelier. Nowadays, drawers in the shape of towers and castles recreate the magic of fairyland. You could choose from the favorite cartoon characters of your kid for the pillows and bed sheets. While the bed linen should be soft and comfortable, it should be durable as well.

To cover the walls, you could use wallpapers avoiding the marks of color drawn by your lovable child. Baby sofas and chairs in various shapes is always cherished. The latest trend is to select a theme for the room. Therefore, you could go for a theme starting from Tarzan to Cinderella. Twins or kids of about the same age generally appreciate similar beds and chairs.

However, if you have one naughty, adventurous kid who would like to go for pirating, bunk bed is the word for you. Mild night lamps to do away with demons under the bed are also a good idea. You could also use baby monitors, which would help you to keep track of when your baby needs you. The furniture in the room should not have any sharp edges.

Toys with smoother edges that will not hurt your kid are also preferred. You can also use carpeting on the floor to prevent the child from getting hurt if he/ she should fall down.

So go in and live your childhood while selecting the most appropriate furniture for your little prince or princess.
